Description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1/ Visual Communication - to develop unique, relevant visual communication strategies that promote the Bourgault product line and brand, while remaining mindful of Bourgaults existing marketing parameters;

2/ Written Communication - in conjunction with
the responsibility of developing relevant visual communication strategies is the responsibility of assisting in the development of and editing of written content that educates the target audience of the Bourgault product line and company (includes both creative, as well as technical writing);

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: a Bachelor of Arts with a major in
Graphic Design or a Diploma in Graphic Design -
a firm understanding of visual design principles and how to effectively implement them (this includes an understanding of typography and the value that
typography has in effective communication);


Creative Requirements
Apply high conceptual abilities to promote the
Bourgault product line and brand - typical forms of visual communication include: logo development,product catalogue design, photography, illustration,signage, ad design;

The editing of written copy in the develop of ad copy for print, digital media and radio. This may involve working with marketing and engineering, as well as conducting market research in producing copy for
various promotional materials;

Photography  the ability to organize and conduct photoshoots, as well as produce and edit photography to promote the attributes of the product and company;

Technological Requirements
familiarity with the various programs in Adobe Creative Suite is an asset (strong computer skills); a working knowledge of digital media and the opportunities that exist therein;

Experience  a background in farming with a familiarity
with the Bourgault product line is definitely an asset;
