Description

The College of Pharmacy and Nutrition invites applications from qualified individuals for a full time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in the Division of Pharmacy. The successful candidate will teach in the PharmD curriculum, primarily in the areas of psychiatric medicine, mental health, and neurology, with some involvement in interdisciplinary teaching as well. The candidate will be required to establish a clinical practice site in the area of psychiatry, where they will work approximately 1 day per week. The candidate will also be responsible for engaging in research and scholarly activities, supervision of undergraduate and graduate students, and relevant administrative activities.

Qualifications

A post-baccalaureate PharmD or Ph.D. is required. The candidate must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Saskatchewan by the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals; licensure must be obtained within 6 months of the appointment date. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in psychiatric medicine and mental health; Board Certification in Psychiatric Pharmacy will be considered an asset. We seek a candidate who has effective teaching, interpersonal, and communication skills. Candidates should also have a strong interest and ability to engage in research and scholarly activities.
