Under the direction of the Manager of Settlement & Community Support Services you will assist refugee and immigrant students and their families in their transition to a new culture by developing, organizing and facilitating a variety of activities for youth. This position requires flexible hours (mornings and afternoons, includes nights occasionally and involves weekend hours, based on program needs) a diverse cultural background is an asset.
Education and Experience:
-Graduate of post secondary program (2 years minimum) in the social sciences, or education, or Kinesiology, and 2 years work experience working with school age children/family counselling services.
Required Licenses and/or Certificates:
-Canadian Police Information Center (CPIC) certification - A Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check in good standing order is required. The CPIC certification must be completed within the last three months.
-Holds a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle for travel purpose.
