The Quality Assurance System Specialist's primary responsibilities are to assist in the efficient and effective preparation, issue, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the latest version of the ISO 9001 standards adapted by the Company. The position will provide support in the creation and implementation of future management systems and ensures the QMS is compliant with PTI's Corporate Policy, user-friendly, adds value to the organization and meets the needs and expectations of relevant interested parties.
The QA System Specialist position is key in facilitating/leading continual improvement throughout the organization to increase customer satisfaction and business productivity. Specific responsibilities include:
- Involvement in the creation, communication, facilitation, implementation, follow-up and reporting of internal/external audit programs.
- Perform process and internal quality audits.
- Promote organizational awareness of quality systems and adherence to the QMS and ISO practices.
- Maintain competence with latest ISO 9001 & ISO 19011 QMS Auditing Standards.
- Assist with the creation of quality assurance policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Create, maintain & audit company quality related databases.
- Initiate, gather, investigate & analyze quality related data.
- Analyze, interpret, and report results, trends and risks using various quality and root cause analysis/problem solving tools and statistical techniques.
- Ensure implementation of a Measuring and Test Equipment Calibration Program.
