Job brief
We are looking for a qualified Territory Sales Representative to lead our Flooring and Sundry sales to Dealers and Contractors in the Provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba. You will help the company grow everyday sales and implement plans for long term growth!
The ideal Territory Sales Representative will possess in-depth knowledge of sales processes, training and sales planning, and will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills with a desire to meet new people and travel often! (This is no desk job!)
Responsibilities
-Use your sales skills to sell products both in field and by phone
-Seek out opportunities to provide products to flooring dealers & contractors
-Service existing accounts and obtain new accounts along your travels!
-Plan out and make dealer / contractor visits to show new products and update displays etc.
-Provide in-store and on site training sessions as needed (product training will be provided to you)
-Provide product quotes and work with customers to develop pricing agreements
-Install display racks as needed (ability to lift 50lbs)
-Effectively address concerns and establish positive working relationships with customers
-Work independently while also working as part of the company sales team.
-Keep management informed of sales performance with updated CRM, schedules, work plans and monthly reports
Requirements
-Flooring industry knowledge is preferred (but we'll also take a quick and eager learner!)
-Preferred location Saskatoon or Regina
-Excellent sales, presentation and telephone skills, and the numbers to prove it!
-Ability to travel throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba on a regular basis
-Valid Canadian Passport
-Personal Vehicle suited for position (vehicle allowance provided)
-Excellent communication and consulting skills, with a personable approach!
-A team player & an eager-to-learn attitude!
