At Bennett Dunlop Ford, we provide experiences for people who want quality and value, through a team passionate about being the best. We are currently seeking a part-time facility technician, who works well in a team environment and demonstrates a strong work-ethic.
You will have the responsibility of identifying maintenance requirements, responding to employee requests, performing hands-on maintenance, installation, and repair work.
Tasks include:
HVAC maintenance and filter replacements
Overhead door and door operator maintenance and repairs
Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
Installation and repair of structured wire
Shop equipment maintenance
Carpentry, furniture building, installation, and repair
Plumbing repairs
Operating mobile power equipment including a forklift, skid steer, and aerial work platform
Supervising contractors and inspecting work completed by contractors
The successful candidate should have a certificate or relative experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and welding. The position is well suited to a retired Journeyman trades person or perhaps that handyman who loves fixing things that other people can't.
This position is physically demanding and requires working aloft on ladders and aerial work platforms. A competitive rate with a flexible schedule will be a real reward to the successful candidate. The desired candidate should also demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Office.
