The Role:
Plan, coordinate and oversee; start to finish of commercial and/or industrial projects, to ensure all goals and objectives are successfully met including schedule, budget, quality control, communication and safety
Attends meetings as required with owners, stakeholders, general and sub-contractors
Responsible for effectively managing and dispatching change orders to supervisors, field personnel and estimators
Researches availability for project specified specialty products/vendor requirements when required for purchasing department
Ensures that company policies, procedures and practices are communicated and carried out
Provides leadership, manages and oversees projects to ensure compliance with onsite policies, safety and quality assurance
Studies job specifications to determine appropriate project methods, looking for ways to make projects more cost-effective
The Ideal Candidate:
Strong communication skills with a commercial and/or industrial background
A demonstrated track record in project management
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Post-secondary education in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Project Management, Business or related field
PMP designation preferred
