Description

SGO Mining Inc. is a Saskatchewan-based gold producer, engaged in the production, exploration and development of gold mineral reserves and mineral resources. Seabee Gold Operation is located 125 kilometers northeast of La Ronge, SK. Our developing Santoy project is located approximately 14 kilometers east of the Seabee Mill and is a 1000 tpd operation. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor.

This position is fly in / fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert & La Ronge. The work schedule will be two weeks in, two weeks out.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Supervisor oversees the day to day operations of the shops and mobile equipment both on surface and underground; organizes, distributes and verifies the work for the workforce; establishes priorities and schedules daily and weekly work; handles the information from work orders and daily check; verifies the purchase orders and maintains equipment and safety of employees.

The supervisor coordinates all activities in the maintenance division of SGO Mining Inc. on their shift to achieve a safe, efficient and cost effective operation. The supervisor will also work as required, with the support staff of other departments to meet stated goals and production targets. They must ensure equipment maintenance is executed in accordance with approved schedules. The supervisor is directly responsible for the safety of their crew and the efficiency of their crews performance.

The successful candidate will possess a valid journeyperson certificate, accompanied by a minimum of seven (7) years of directly related experience, preferably in the mining industry. Supervisory experience is necessary. An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
