As an integral part of the team and ambassador of the firm, your interpersonal skills, positive customer service attitude and attention to detail will provide you with this ground floor opportunity to hone your human resources skills and expand your career within the recruitment industry.
In this key role, you will:
- Serve as first point of contact and company ambassador (~15-20%) for telephone and walk-in clients, appointments, enquiries and messages. Communicate with people from all walks of life and backgrounds in a warm, professional and respectful manner at all times.
- Database information management and input. (~50-60%+) Planning, organization and accurate recording of incoming resumes, candidate information, updates, skills inventory, interviews, etc. on an ongoing basis within the HR database and filing system.
- Provide strong administrative support (~10-20%) to team members in the areas of word processing, candidate reply letters/emails, assessments and skills testing, appointments, reports, photocopying, courier, etc.
- Display initiative and a willingness to contribute to a work hard-have fun team culture, and the variety of tasks thatare part of a fast-paced, small business environment.
Education & Experience
- Formal education in Human Resources, Business, Marketing or a related discipline is an asset.
- 2+ years human resources, customer service, administration and database experience is preferred.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook. Database experience a definite asset.
