Assignment and Term: This position is a temporary part-time position of 5 hours per alternate school days (odd days on the school cycle) at Esterhazy High School.  The position commences as soon as possible and will expire on June 27, 2018 or upon return of the regular employee.

Qualifications:  Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent. The candidate will have acute attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work as a team member will be considered assets.

Duties:  include working closely with students to meet their diverse learning goals; provide assistance to students with mobility needs and/or who require personal care; assist the classroom teacher to support learning with all students in the classroom; maintain strict confidentiality of all information pertaining to a child, classroom and the school and, perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or designate and those listed in Job Description - Educational Assistant

Salary and Benefits:  The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $16.49 - $21.31 plus applicable vacation pay.  Benefits include participation in the Municipal Employees' Pension Plan and opportunities to attend professional development seminars.
