Description

Summary: This position requires a professional, respectful, positive, self-motivated and detail oriented individual who is available to work evenings/weekends/flexible shifts with minimal supervision. The Pool Attendant must be a team player who will be responsible for the overall supervision of the Travelodge Saskatoon Hotel pool area, general maintenance of the pools and chemicals. Must be knowledgeable about all emergency procedures. The pool attendant is responsible for overall cleanliness of the pool areas, opening and closing of pools, and other duties as required by the Department Manager.

Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities: (Abbreviated)
Opening and Closing of pools
Responsible for overall cleanliness of pool areas
General maintenance of pool areas, including chemical testing, application and record keeping
Adhere to all Health and Safety legislation, policies, procedures and processes
Work with minimal supervision
All other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, & Skills: (Abbreviated)
First Aid/CPR required
Bronze Cross or National Lifeguard Award preferred
Pool Operation course required
Aquatic Supervisor Training an asset
Red Cross Lifeguard Training an asset
WHMIS training an asset
Work Conditions:
Interacts/communicates with guests and associates
Hotel/Pool environment
Minimum 16 years of age
