FT Housekeeping Supervisor required for 84 suite hotel in Northend:
Areas of Accountability:
Recruits, interviews, hires, orients, and trains new employees in the housekeeping and laundry department as well as providing ongoing training to current employees.
Prepares work schedules, performs daily room inspections, and ensures housekeeping standards are met.
Takes monthly or weekly inventories of linen, rooms supplies, cleaning and laundry chemicals. Prepares requisitions and places orders for those items. Ensures that budgeted expense goals are met through proper usage and control of those items.
Maintains all required employee records such as time cards, comment cards concerning housekeeping staff, schedules, and provides management with all necessary documentation required.
Cleans rooms or works in laundry when necessary due to the lack of required number of employees, employee absenteeism, or errors in projected rooms occupied.
Prepares the Room Attendant Daily Report, assigns specific rooms to each room attendant, supervises housekeeping personnel to ensure that carts are properly stocked and that all cleaning and laundry work assigned is completed according to corporate and/or Brand standards.
Prepares and ensures that the Daily Room Report is accurate and loaded into the PMS showing accurate status for each room.
Maintains the First Aid Kits to ensure that they are completely stocked at all times.
Ensures the employee break room is comfortable and clean.
Maintains a file or notebook with all MSDS sheets.
