Canpotex is currently seeking an Analyst, Sales & Operations Planning in the Operations department in our Saskatoon office
        
Reporting to the Director, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), the Analyst, S&OP has responsibility for providing analytical and execution support to optimize supply chain planning to meet service level requirements and minimize cost.  The focus will be near term (up to 12 months) capacity planning and involves matching sales requirements to supply, rail, terminal and vessel capabilities.  The Analyst will be responsible for maintaining various scorecards that measure execution effectiveness and make recommendations to drive continuous process improvement.  In addition, this position will be responsible to conduct simulation modeling to quantify the effect of system changes to overall operating costs and customer service impacts.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors degree in science, applied science or business is required, master degree is an asset. You will have a minimum of two (2) years work experience in a supply chain or operations management role. Experience with financial modelling, cost/benefit analysis, decision tree analysis and data mining is considered an asset. Your excellent verbal and written communications skills will allow you to articulate and negotiate effectively. Strong analytical, decision making and computer skills are required to maintain databases and spreadsheets to produce accurate reports and analyze large quantities of data. You work well both independently and in a team setting.
