Description

The Assiniboia Early Childhood Coalition opened a new Family Centre which now houses the Tot Spot activities (indoor play space for children 0-5)this past Fall. We are currently seeking an applicant for the supervisor/coordinator position of the Centre. The hours of operation will be for the remainder of the current term with the potential of renewal in the Fall each year with the possibility of summer placement elsewhere. 2 mornings/wk + 1 full day/wk (approximately 12 hrs/wk)

Responsibilities will include coordinating activities and events at the Family Centre as well as assist with delivery, planning and supervision of "Open Play" sessions for families within the Centre.

The candidate we are seeking should be- responsible, enthusiastic, have good working knowledge of computers and programs, have experience working with children or community groups, have strong interpersonal skills and public relations, have excellent oral and written skills, be self-motivated and demonstrate strong organizational skills.

The following qualifications will be given preference,however not required:  One year experience working with children, knowledge of child development and behaviour management, ECE training and Standard First Aid.

A vulnerable sector police records check will need to be presented upon interview request.
