Description

Reporting to the Director  eHealth Programs, the Manager of Community and Primary Health Care Programs oversees the day-to-day management, operations, and evaluation of the Community clinical information services within eHealth Programs. The individual leads teams responsible for the program areas including projects and operational work related to clinical care transformation through IT focusing on quality, functionality, risk, practice and safety. The program areas that fall into this portfolio currently consist of Home Care, Long Term Care, Mental Health & Addictions, Chronic Disease Management and Primary Health Care.


The Manager serves as a liaison between the clinical stakeholders and IT, and accurately and promptly analyzes, prioritizes, and translates user needs and requests to clinical information systems. The individual facilitates communication amongst large groups of interdisciplinary end users while working collaboratively and directly with the technical experts and/or vendors.

Specific responsibilities include:
    Assure alignment of program initiatives with various organizational and provincial strategic initiatives;
    Foster strong relationships with internal, health sector and vendor partners;
    Develop and maintain strategic informatics plans and roadmaps for your programs;
    Manage capacity & demand for both operational duties and strategic initiatives;
    Deliver on strategic and operational commitments; and
    Develop and manage operational and project budgets
