Entry level brewhouse position is open. We will train in the basic areas of bottling, kegging, keg washing, cleaning, and preparing goods for shipping. Quick learners who can pay attention to details may advance to brewing and filtering.
Deliveries might be part of this position as well. Ability to drive a small van an asset.
You will frequently need to handle items such as sacks of grain that weigh 25kg or flats of beer weighing 15kg. Bottling can be boring and repetitive work, and much of the daily work is cleaning with chemicals which require careful handling. Following direction is imperative.
Because what we make is regulated by CRA Excise, accurate records must kept on everything we brew and package. Attention to details is imperative.
Mechanical aptitude can be an asset.
This position in initially part-time, but may become full-time quickly.
