Are you a First Nations youth between the ages of 15  30 years of age?  First Nations University of Canada Human Resources Department is looking for a youth that is drawn to meaningful work in a fast-paced environment that promotes well-rounded development.  You will have the opportunity to complete an exciting variety of challenging projects, but not limited to recruitment, maintaining HRIS employee data, and supporting the implementation of HR programs and initiatives.

Duties and Qualifications:

Applicants can be individuals with post secondary education in Human Resources (a certificate, undergraduate or graduate degrees), and/or some experience in Human Resources.  To succeed in this role you must have:
High degree of initiative and ability to deliver results; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage at all levels of the organization; Analytical skills with strong attention to detail; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Strong proficiency with computers is required  email, typing, and spreadsheets.

Hours of work for this position are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.  This is an Out of Scope Position.  Salary range is $18.77 per hour, plus vacation pay.  A daycare subsidy of $500 per month is also available for individuals who meet the criteria.
