A champion of customer experience, the VP, Distribution & Customer Services, as a part of the executive team, will lead the organization to proactively map safe electrical services and engaged customer operations for the entire Province to the future strategy of the Corporation. Leading a team of 1,000 and serving over 500,000 customers, the VP needs to attend to busy operations all-the-while holding line of sight on strategy. The hallmarks of success in this role will be marshaling capital, establishing productive partnerships, choosing effective technologies, and bringing to scale the capabilities of the grid in a new era of customer expectations, smart grid, and innovation.
The VP, Distribution & Customer Services will be a trusted, visionary and innovative leader, whose passion and purpose reflect SaskPowers values of safety, openness, collaboration and accountability. He/she must be a strong communicator, embrace a new digitally-enabled service model, and lead the culture shift that is being undertaken at SaskPower. He/she along with the rest of the executive team will transform the organization over the next few years in a meaningful way to best position it into the future.  
The likely candidate is already an experienced leader in a complex technical customer service environment, who's shown their ability to inspire distributed teams to enhance customer experience, realize workforce productivity and improve asset performance.
