Job Overview
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator position requires an experienced professional with a marketing and/or a communications background. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to think creatively and critically is essential. Proficiency in related computer programs is a requirement.
Responsibilities
Manage our corporate websites and existing social media pages
Manage the social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day operation and involvement; including capturing and posting relevant content, respond to requests and comments, developing engaging content,
Plan, coordinate and execute in-house events/parties and contests (open house, staff parties, DJ Nights) and all trade shows, external events and experiential marketing campaigns
Provide up to date analytics and reports monthly
Keep in-house digital and print marketing material up-to-date
Participate and organize community involvement (sponsorships, volunteer initiatives, donation requests)
Draft internal and external communications, such as monthly newsletters, club updates and promotions
Work with the Director team to continue and maintain the companys branding initiative
Qualifications
Excellent communication, both verbal and written
Experience with WordPress (asset)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Advanced level with Social Media platforms (Facebook, IG, Google, etc)
Experience in Video and Graphic Design (asset)
Excellent organization and time management skills (mandatory)
Experience with constant contact (Asset)
Experience with SEO
Educational Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Marketing
Graphic Design (asset)
Web Development (asset)
Hours/Availability: Flexible Hours, fully available (may require work on Saturday/Sunday for events and coordination)
Must have a valid license and access to a reliable vehicle
Industry experience will be considered an asset
