Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Summer Student will be responsible for assisting with grounds keeping, and maintenance.
FULL-TIME (Seasonal)
Summer Groundskeeper/Maintenance Assistant
- Must have been a full-time student in 2017/2018 and returning to full-time post secondary schooling in the fall of 2018.
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been given; must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Aboriginal students are encouraged to apply.
- Duties include outdoor tasks such as mowing, watering, weeding, pruning and painting; and indoor maintenance such as suite repairs, room setups, and building maintenance and repair.
- 37.5 hour work week from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
- This position begins May 2 and ends August 26, 2018
- Experience in grounds keeping, minor repairs and/or working with disability sector is an asset.
