Responsibilities:
Maintain a pre and post close timetable of activities for month and year end closes. Supervise, provide direction and support the accounting staff
Report and discuss financial results with the Senior Leadership team in preparation for monthly financial reviews with the individual business units
Provide required reporting to outside stakeholders in a timely fashion
Provide guidance, feedback, and direction to accounting staff of the various business units
Identify and put into place both preventative and detective internal controls and monitor
regularly, identifying concerns and issues as they arise.
Ensure by detailed review and sign-off, that all monthly bank and account reconciliations are competed on a timely basis and that any reconciling items are cleared by the following month
Provide support to newly acquired business units to ensure a smooth acclimation to the
organization environment
Collaborate with the accounting staff of the various business units to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results and KPIs
Qualifications:
CA or other accounting designation
5+ years in the industry and /or accounting firm experience
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and ability
