We run an equipment rental business and when the mechanic isn't fixing my rental equipment, he fixes customer's equipment. A wide range of experience is needed. We have two-cycle, four-cycle, and some smaller diesel pieces that we rent out. We have several scissor lifts that often have electrical/solenoid/hydraulic problems. Most of the customer equipment is lawn and garden, snowblowers, chainsaws...etc. Must be strong enough to load equipment. Computer knowledge helps. So do welding skills. Needs to have a valid drivers licence. Must work well with public.
