The role of the Software Developer/Software Engineer is to solve IT problems and create high quality, innovative solutions. The ideal candidate wants to assist in creating a customer base that makes referrals. The Software developer enjoys building software systems which enables clients to do their job easier and more effectively. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and obtains fulfilment when the right solution can be implemented and the client is satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:
- Solve client problems with efficient reliable and secure IT software solutions
- Assist in determining the needs and objectives of the client and assess the requirements and limitations of the project
- Explore possible solutions to problems
- Determine the best solution for the client based on needs and requirements
- Assist in designing and implementing the development of the solution
- Create value for the client via high quality customer service
- Build relationships with internal ESTI team and business clients
- Use a high degree of professionalism in working relationships
- Collaborate with the ESTI team to create the best design solution by specified deadlines
- Be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the success of the ESTI team
- Continue to develop skills and abilities with the support of ESTI team and resources

Recommended Skills, Knowledge and Education:
- Knowledge of basic software development lifecycle, client/server based solution development as well as web and cloud based solution delivery

- Skills with computer hardware(laptops, workstations, servers) and software (Microsoft operating systems, Unix/Linux OS, MS Office) are required

- Skills will PHP, Oracle DB, Oracle APEX, Enterprise Java, MySQL, Apache, C# and WebLogic will be considered highly valuable.

- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering considered highly valuable.
