KRT Ventures Inc. a modern grain farm in Northern Saskatchewan is looking for General Farm Workers to perform the following duties:
- Operate and maintain sprayer, tractors and other modern farm equipment;
- Assist in all aspects of farming operation - plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray, irrigate and harvest crops;
- Assist in maintenance of farm infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Basic farm knowledge;
- English language proficiency is mandatory;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Mechanically-inclined;
- Physically fit and self starter;
- Can work independently with minimal supervision and a team player;
- When necessary, willing to work long hours;
- Valid driver's licence is mandatory (with clean driver's abstract);
- Class 1A driver's licence is an asset;
Experience:
- Previous experience with modern farm equipment is an asset.
The job is full-time and permanent at 40 hours plus per week. Start date - immediately.
