Canpotex is currently seeking a Communications Summer Student for May to August 2018. This position will be located in our Saskatoon office.

Reporting to the Manager, Communications, you will be responsible for drafting internal and external communications, including reports, presentations, letters, and internet and intranet web content. The Communications Summer Student will also edit and update corporate templates for MS Word and MS PowerPoint, and conduct research on communications related topics as well as performs media monitoring service.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and grammatical skills as well as formatting and editing skills are required, as well as experience working with Microsoft products, such as Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of or experience working with desktop design applications such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, Keynote, and iMovie would be considered an asset. If you are in your third or fourth year studying English, Communications, Marketing or Public Relations, and have an interest in gaining exposure in a corporate setting you are encouraged to apply.
