Description

We are looking for an Intermediate/Senior Steel Fabrication Detailer. The detailer primary responsibility is the inputting of building designs provided by Engineering. Prepare higher complexity erection/fabrication drawings per design requirements and within manufacturing limitations. Detail Industrial structures and plate works components, prepare material take-offs and bill of material. Adhere to and apply drafting standards, processes and procedures.
Must be proficient in TEKLA / Auto CAD/ Inventor. having basic knowledge of Estimation and engineering is an asset.
Responsibilities: Prepare shop drawing/ assembly drawings/ NC1 files- DXF files drawings for projects of all complexities. Prepare material take-offs and bill of material/ cut list. Check work of other drafters/Detailers as required. Adhere to drafting standards/templates, software, processes and procedures.

Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in International and Canadian steel manufactures.
- Strong knowledge of Detailing using TEKLA/Auto CAD/ Microsoft office.  ability to work with AVEVA BOCAD and Inventor is an asset.
- Canadian Permanent residency or Canadian citizenship.
