CWA Engineers Inc. (CWA) is an industry leading consulting engineering firm that provides services in the mining and minerals, wood products, and ports and marine terminals industries to clients across North America and around the world.
With our expanding client base and growing project needs, CWA is looking for an intermediate Structural Designer to join and grow our recently developed Saskatoon office.
Position overview:
As an integral member of our structural department, your main role will be the preparation of structural drawings, including the layout, modeling, and development of details. Travel to job sites on a short-term basis may be required.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
Formal education in drafting and design with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modelling.
A demonstrated ability to apply design criteria, industry standards, and client specifications.
Experience working at industrial facilities is considered an asset.
A demonstrated ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
Self-motivated.
Strong attention to detail.
A valid SK drivers license.
