HENRY'S CAFE is hiring part-time servers for our popular daytime restaurant. Flexible hours & weekday/weekend shifts available.
Looking for outgoing, customer oriented, team players. Some serving experience required, but training available!
We also welcome University students looking for employment around their school schedule.
Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Advise on menu selections
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Essential Skills
- Oral communication
- Working with others
- Decision making
Additional Skills
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Set tables
- Replace linen
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Load buspans and trays
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Balance cash and record sales
- Assist customers with special needs
- Customer service oriented
- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
