Athol Murray College of Notre Dame is offering an exciting career opportunity in our Arena Facility. We are looking for people that are interested in creating a new career at Notre Dame as part of our Arena and Central Services Office (CSO) team. As an Arena Operator, you are primarily responsible for maintaining the condition of the ice surface of our Olympic size ice rink for our 12 hockey teams on campus. Notre Dame is looking for individuals who are able to communicate in a positive manner with both the public and other staff members. You must have the capacity to work within a team setting as well as work independently. Candidates must demonstrate their ability to perform general maintenance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing tasks.

Essential roles for this position include, but are not limited to:
1. Provide quality and consistent ice surface for the Arena.
2. Complete daily inspections and maintenance log books for the Olympia, both plant rooms and ice measurements.
3. Monitor and do minor maintenance on refrigeration plant.
4. Basic cleaning, sweeping, mopping and janitorial duties of the Arena facility.
5. Perform a variety of maintenance tasks - change all filters and keep accurate logs of completion dates, including all Pool filters, dehumidifier filters and under bleachers filters; glass inspection on arena and board inspection.
6. Implement established preventative maintenance practices for all arena operating systems.
