The responsibility of the Marketing Coordinator is to assist the Marketing Manager along with the Sales team in various aspects of sales and marketing. The Marketing Coordinator position requires a broad range of skills and experience in support of key marketing objectives and goals. As Marketing Coordinator, you will be asked to coordinate special events, tradeshows, implement advertising campaigns, proof documents, write content, ordering product and working with a Graphic Designer to create brochures. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager on a daily basis. At times this position will require traveling to various trade shows and to and from our various company buildings. In addition, you will be asked to assist with social media, email marketing, web campaigns, website updates and general administrative support of the marketing department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Trade show logistics, set up, take down,renting, booking, etc.
Organizing Childrens Wish/fundraising events
Organizing of marketing documents and folders
Registering employees into events
Document/marketing material proofing
Rough draft press releases
Rough draft blogs to be proofed and approved by Marketing Manager
First drafts of profile and social media content
Working with graphic designer on first drafts of marketing materials and brochures
Reordering of marketing materials, decals, signage, etc.
Booking, implementing and monitoring of approved media campaigns.
Entering and completing POs in a timely manner
Organization of Marketing materials and folders
Putting together promotional item packages for sponsorships, clients and events
Basic video editing tasks.
PowerPoint creation and revisions
Document editing.
Implement approved website changes and updates
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum five years experience in a similar role
2. Proficiency in both traditional and digital marketing
3. Marketing degree or equivalent training
