Job Title: Head Chef
Location: Craven
We are looking for a experienced chef with 3-5 years of experience. Do you have a specialty in Mediterranean, Latin, Asian, Italian, etc. cuisine? It is a great asset, please let us know!
Head chefs perform some or all of the following duties:
Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities for the restaurant
Follow specific food-safe guidelines
Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
Estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labour costs
Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks
May prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
Be able to follow dietary restrictions and accommodate customers requests
Cook full-course meals, appetizers, and plate according to restaurant standards
Must have knowledge in preparing desserts (No certificate is needed)
Daily Recipes may include:
Pasta, grains, dairy, eggs, fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, poultry, seafood, various meats, and desserts.
