The Willows Golf & Country Club is looking for Dishwashers to join us for an un-fore-gettable golf season.

Wondering what this Dishwasher position actually does?
The Dishwasher position reports to the Chef and Sous Chef and is responsible for supporting the Chefs and team members to maintain and execute the restaurants standards of quality in sanitation. The dishwasher is a key member of the culinary team and is expected to assist in controlling sanitation related costs. This position also plays a key role in the development attention to Health and Safety practices. They will assist other departments and complete additional cleaning duties. Here are a few of the duties, we will discuss more in person:
- Support standards of cleanliness, timing, uniform, grooming, organization, production, and sanitation.
- Operate dish machine and ensuring proper cleanliness of all silver, china, glassware, pots & pans, and remaining kitchen equipment
- Empty all garbage and recycling receptacles to the dumpster in organized and efficient manner
- Maintain highest standards of cleanliness and organization of all line equipment, tools, and working surfaces
- Clean: receiving area, drains, and equipment as required
- Ensure the dishwashing machine is cleaned properly with proper sanitation supplies
- Ensure dish area walls, floors, and surfaces are kept clean and organized at all times
- Notify Chef of any repairs required to kitchen equipment
- Responsible for executing all Food Safety principles
- Receive orders & store properly as per health & safety, FIFO, and food hygiene standards
Dishwashing Skills
- Scour pots and pans
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- Operate pot-washing machines
- Clean and polish silverware
- Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- WHMIS
Kitchen Helping Skills
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- Sweep and mop floors
