Description

DFA Tire is looking for a responsible, experienced, and reliable Heavy Duty Truck/Transport Mechanic to work on heavy trucks, trailers and diesel powered automobiles.  Full benefits are available after 3 month probation.  

Position requirements:
- Applicant must have own tools
- Steel-toed safety boots  (CSA Approved)
- Valid driver's license and their own transportation

Specific Skills required:
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
- Determine extent of repair required
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
