NLSD No. 113 invites applications for the position of a temporary, full-time

Apprentice Plumber - East

Northern Lights School Division No. 113 requires a talented, ambitious and self-motivated apprentice plumber that can work independently and with other team members; must be trustworthy, have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle.

The successful candidate must be eligible for registration as an apprentice with Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission with a minimum of Grade 12 preferred; unemployed or underemployed with a strong interest in plumbing and be able to work effectively with minimal supervision. As this position is partially sponsored by Gabriel Dumont Institute, the successful applicant must be of Aboriginal ancestry.

This position is a temporary full-time position based in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.  Must be able to travel to various eastern locations within the division (Sandy Bay, Timber Bay, Weyakwin, Cumberland House, Stony Rapids and Uranium City).  
  
Northern Lights School Division No. 113 offers the following:  competitive base wage, shift schedule varies depending on position, paid for benefits package (i.e. vision/dental/health), sick leave entitlements, housing may be available, tool allowance, and mileage paid.
