PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
This position is responsible for setting safety, performance and developmental expectations for the Instrumentation trade group, as well as conducting regular field audits to make sure safety procedures are followed and work is executed in a timely and cost effective manner. The Maintenance Supervisor Instrumentation will maintain a customer service orientation on the basis of 7-day week availability for technical consultation, safety and operational incidents, and for emergency response.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include, but are not limited to, providing active supervision in the field and the shop, assisting in the development of daily and weekly schedules, developing safe work practices and procedures, and leading and maintaining adherence to safe behavior through morning stretch program, daily toolbox talks, and monthly safety meetings. Duties will also include developing the budget for the trade section, assisting the Equipment Reliability group in developing preventive maintenance programs, and participating in training and professional development to keep current with safety and maintenance practices and increase the effectiveness of the Maintenance area. This position reports to the General Foreman Trades.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications include a recognized Trade Certificate with ten to fifteen years experience within the complex or in a similar industry. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel would be considered an asset.
