We are currently recruiting a House Manager who will demonstrate enthusiasm and leadership qualities in ensuring our Quality Life Assistants understand how to provide the highest quality of care possible for our Residents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain smooth day-to-day operations within the households regarding shift routines, resident care plans, staffing, etc.
- Proactively and effectively identify and resolve maintenance, grocery, inventory, scheduling and other concerns
- Assist in implementation of new policies and process improvement initiatives and ensure staff understand and adhere appropriately
- Coach, mentor staff regarding their roles, responsibilities and expectations
- Manage staff performance and make appropriate recommendations to leadership team when expectations are not being met
- Orient and train new staff
- Lead a team that understands and is guided by our Mission to enhance quality of life through quality care
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of working in a health care related field
- Successful completion of Personal Care Worker course or equivalent is required
- CPR/First aid is required
- Proven ability to lead by example and make decisions with a deliberate intention of facilitating trusting relationships
- Ability to problem solve / troubleshoot
- Participation in on-call schedule is required
- Ability to work evenings and weekend is required
