Canpotex is currently seeking an Information Security & Technology Lead to join the Business Information (BI) team in our Saskatoon office.
        
As Lead of our Information Security & Technology team, reporting to the team Manager, you will be a senior technical resource accountable for the security of company data and for the design, installation, administration and optimization of all corporate IT infrastructure and related technologies to achieve high performance of the various business applications.

The current operational environment is primarily a mix of Microsoft servers running on VMWare and cloud technologies with a supporting Fortinet Infrastructure.  Going forward, Canpotex is looking to adopt more cloud based services and other next generation technologies to support our global operations and an enhanced user experience.  The Information Security & Technology Lead will play a key role in co-managing the existing environment with select third party partners, but also our planning and migration to the future. In addition, this role will develop ongoing application maintenance plans, report on performance KPIs and drive automation opportunities.  Preferred candidates will have demonstrated experience in information security, project delivery, innovation, and cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of eight years experience of hands-on technical work in the areas of information security, infrastructure and operations, plus a minimum of two years experience leading a team.
