If you've got the HVAC skills to keep it cool, even when the work gets hot, you might be the tradesperson we are looking for.

INNOVATION PLACE is looking for a REFRIGERATION MECHANIC with strong HVAC knowledge and related maintenance skills to help keep our spaces comfortable so that our tenants can be as productive as possible in growing Saskatchewan's tech sector.

Your responsibilities will include major and minor equipment repairs to a wide range of sophisticated laboratory and building equipment including centrifugal chillers, air conditioning systems, biohazard and perchloric fume hoods, autoclaves, growth chambers, waste water systems and lab grade water systems.

You'll also be working with park tenants  advising them on the condition and maintenance of their equipment and fabricating equipment based on their needs as well as helping ready space for new tenants by installing heating and ventilation and/or A/C systems.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
- a strong understanding of building HVAC systems; ability to read blueprints and assess critical maintenance problems
- excellent communication skills with an ability to interact with tenants to identify their needs
- strong teamwork skills
- an Inter-provincial Journeypersons in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade as well as an Ozone Depleting Substance Control Certificate License
- a Domestic Gas Fitters License considered an asset; candidates without this must be willing to acquire it
- three years of work experience plus some experience using a preventative maintenance system
- availability to work on-call
