The City of Moose Jaw is seeking to fill our Sub-Foreman - Fleet Services position. Under the direction of the Fleet Services Supervisor, the Sub-Foreman - Fleet Services is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the shop floor including the supervision of personnel and various hands-on tasks in the maintenance and operation of the City of Moose Jaw's fleet and equipment.  

Qualified candidates will possess:
-    Completion of Grade 12
-    Journeyman AST with proven Heavy Equipment experience
-    Firemans Certificate
-    Valid Class 3-A driver's license
-    6 years' mechanical experience with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
-    Thorough knowledge of equipment repair and maintenance including power train, electrical, HVAC, suspension and brakes
-    Certified in WHIMIS
-    Forklift Certified Operator
-    Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
-    Ability to lead, organize and direct activities of employees
