RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attain and compile data for use of machine control GPS
- Upload, maintain and troubleshoot GPS systems in Graders, Dozers, and Skidsteers
- Checking grades and laying out information to aid the field staff using 3D machine control
- Utilize transit level to layout elevation data
- Monitor quantities using GPS
PLANNING
- Use of AutoCad, Civil 3D, and Topcon software to build surfaces to use in 3D Machine Control
- File management
- Communication with owners, consultants and our own staff to make sure survey and GPS obligations are fulfilled
- Assist in assuring all project deadlines are met
LEADERSHIP
- Work directly with superintendents, estimators, and foremen ensuring all are informed of project requirements, timelines, and obligations regarding GPS performance.
