Part-time position (21 hours/week). Reporting to Director Programs & Services, assists in development and implementation of programming, specifically in southern Saskatchewan. The successful incumbent must complete criminal background check as a condition of hire.
Primary responsibilities:
-Responds to inquiries then provides information and support. Captures interactions through case management.
-Strategic lead for SK: Volunteer Legal Advocacy Program.
-Assists with implementing educational programs and conducts public education presentations.
-Community engagement and membership development.
-Hospital and long-term care visits, as needed.
-Assists with revenue generation and budget management for the department.
Qualifications:
-Computer proficiency with Microsoft products and experience with database management
-Group facilitation experience
-Experience with public speaking/presentations
-Event & volunteer management experience
-Valid drivers license
-Excellent oral and written communication, in English
-Strong listening and time management skills
-Desire for continuing education and professional development
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, 50 feet
Considerations: office setting with community meetings and visits. Ability and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays away from Saskatoon; with occasional evening/weekend work.
