The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a mature, energetic and presentable individual to join our team. The successful applicant must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, with strong customer service skills.
Duties will include:
- sorting of goods and products as required
- maintain, manage and organize merchandise
- assist customers as required to ensure a positive shopping experience
- assist in keeping the store in a clean and organized state
- other duties as required
Qualifications include 1 to 2 years retail background, cash register experience is an asset.
Successful candidate must provide a satisfactory criminal record check.
Hours are full time - with a rotating regular weekly schedule of Mon to Fri and Tue to Sat, generally 9:00am to 5:30pm.
The Salvation Army offers group medical benefits as well as group RRSP.
