Description

To carry out maintenance duties as directed by the General Manager or their designate in order to contribute to the smooth and profitable operation of the hotel.  To carry out deep cleaning and janitorial duties as may be required from time to time as per established hotel procedures.
Carry out cleaning of public areas and back of house areas as designated by hotel policy.    
Clean and tidy the grounds of the hotel to maintain curb appeal.    
Dispose of garbage in accordance with hotel policy.  
Record and execute all duties related to the safe and hygienic upkeep of the pool and hot-tub, observing safe practices in relation to the use/storage of chemicals as required by hotel policy and Provincial and Federal health and safety regulations.  ***MUST HAVE SPOC CERTIFICATION***
To carry out assigned duties as part of the preventive maintenance schedule that may be established, or as per manufacturer's recommendations for equipment.    
To carry out maintenance duties allocated on a daily basis in accordance with department requirements to contribute to the smooth running of all departments, and achieving guest satisfaction.  
To assist with the testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting, etc. on a routine basis in accordance with hotel policy, and as per the requirements of the governmental authorities having jurisdiction.
