Star Facility Services Inc., a fast paced growing commercial cleaning company in Western Canada is seeking an experienced and qualified Cleaning Operations Manager to join our dynamic Star team.
Position Summary
Position: Supervisor Assistant
Location: Saskatoon
Days and Hours of work**:
Undefined working hours - as planned by GM & VP of Operations
Reports to: Supervisor & Gm of operations
Overview: Supervise and maintain the existing business, create strategic planning to grow business in an area of operations.
Duties:
The Supervisor Assistant is responsible to assist the work product of head supervisor team leads, cleaners and contractors.
Responsibilities include all product inventories, assigning and directing work; addressing complaints and recommending solutions; and report any disciplinary concerns to GM & VP of Operations.
Give cleaners and subcontractors on-the-job site instructions, maintain and requisition cleaning supplies and keep a record of stock.
Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly, so employees & contractors can perform job duties as needed.
Responsible to monitor and maintain the work schedules and ensuring that employees & contractors complete work assignments in a timely manner.
Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, washing walls, windows and removing garbage etc.
Handle project work i.e. Floor Stripping & Waxing, Polishing, Carpet Cleaning, Window washing etc.
Attending tender meetings & walkthroughs, Attending business estimates or any other business development tasks provided by General Manager & VP of Operations.
Physical capability to do the work, including, but not limited to reaching, standing, walking, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasionally required to work in dusty environments. Other Benefits will be discussed in Job interview.
