Job Description: The Administrative Assistant is directly accountable to the Executive Director of Practitioner Staff Affairs of the Saskatchewan Health Authority and provides administrative support in a one-on-one working relationship.  This position supports, and contributes to, processes and practices to support the efficient operation of the Executive Director of Practitioner Staff Affairs  portfolio, through accurate, timely and efficient execution of administrative support functions.  The incumbent works closely, in a collaborative and cooperative manner, with all members of the Senior Leadership Team, and their support staff, to assist in accomplishing the Saskatchewan Health Authoritys objectives.
The incumbent co-ordinates workflow with other administrative support staff in the Executive Office and at the Executive Director level and, in their absence, may provide support services as requested.

Required Qualifications

Completion of Grade XII supplemented by a recognized business course
Experience
Three to five years of experience working in a senior administrative assistant-type role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Exceptional planning, organizational and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
Knowledge and experience in minute taking and synthesizing information
Excellent computer skills, with a good working knowledge of various programs, including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange, Schedule Plus, Visio, Intranet/Internet, and the capability to learn new programs as required
Ability to adapt to frequent change and work under pressure
Ability to work collegially, collaborati
