As the key support position, you will provide strong administrative support, reception (5 lines), data entry, client invoicing and general accounting and office duties to the manager.
Greet clients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner on phone or in person.
Data entry: receive and enter information in the database and in spreadsheets, ensuring a high level of accuracy at all times.
General accounting: Provide accounting support in the area of A/R, data entry, collections, payroll and other duties as assigned. Opportunity exists to expand knowledge and level of responsibilities in this area.
Education & Experience:
Office education or related diploma/ certificate is an asset or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
Computer:
Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook is required. Able to learn new programs quickly, experience working with database systems and/or Simply Accounting is an asset.
Personality/Desired attributes:
- Positive attitude and initiative, willingness to learn and adapt as needed within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a small business an asset.
- Strong work ethics, commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
