Education:
- Youth Care Worker certificate and/or combination of education, training and/or experience
- Early Childhood certificate and/or combination of education, training and/or experience
- Grade 12 and/or experience in a residential setting
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of First Nations Culture, Values, and Traditions
- Knowledge of the Indian Child & Family Services Act
Skills and Abilities:

Other Information:
- Willing to work shift work including evening and weekends

Main Duties:
- Monitor children between the ages of 0 to 12 on a regular basis throughout shift
- Primary responsibility for timely, accurate and complete recording of information required for individual care plans and case work activities for each child during their time in the facility.
- Implement program policies and operating standards that conform to the principles of best practice approved by 4DCFS Inc. maintain knowledge of the program and practice standards approved by the Board of Directors.
- Maintain an effective and positive relationship between the program and external partners involved in the lives of the children in care.
- Adhere to all 4DCF Inc. policy and procedure manuals
- Attendance at staff meetings, training and workshops
- Other duties as requested by immediate supervisor or designate.
