The Business Process Advisor works with internal and external stakeholders to enhance and improve business applications and processes by assisting in the development and design of future state applications and processes that align with SaskEnergys strategic plan and Corporate vision. The role acts as a liaison between subject matter experts, Information Management & Technology, senior management and external stakeholders to facilitate development of desired business outcomes by conducting process reviews, gathering, validating and communicating requirements, while providing expertise, guidance, recommendations and leading stakeholders to a common focus and optimizing efficiency.
Qualifications
Education:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration.
- Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or other formal Business Analyst training is considered an asset.
Experience:
- Five (5) years experience working on IT projects with a solid understanding of mainstream project management methodologies; with experience working with varying level of stakeholders and within tight timeframes; with experience facilitating and documenting business requirements and/or performing and documenting process reviews; and with experience working with mainstream modeling software, information sharing platforms and group facilitation products.
- Experience working in a natural gas utility or crown corporation is considered an asset for this position.
- Strong written, verbal and active listening communication skills and related skills are critical to this assignment.
- Practical experience with testing software would be also considered an asset.
