We are continuously seeking applicants to join our Company as:


GENERAL LABOURER

Our General Labourers are responsible for providing general assistance to all areas of manufacturing.  The primary role of this General Labourer position will be to operate the Wheelabrator, a tumble blast operation to clean parts within strict specifications. This position will also be required to aid the Shipper, Receiver, and Material Coordinator with packaging, moving parts, and pulling raw material throughout the various logistics areas.


Your Objective:

Operating the wheelabrator to clean parts to specification
Check and verify that parts are cleaned to specification; re-run parts through wheelabrator as required
Support, provide assisstance and coordinate work efforts/initiatives  throughout the scope of all logistics responsibilities
Operate various machines and power tools, including grinders, chipping and de-burring equipment

Success Requires:

6 months to 1 year related labourer experience
Must have mechanical abilities and experience with using power tools  
Experience using measuring instruments
Ability to drive a manual transmition (standard) vehicle is an asset
A grade twelve diploma or equivalent is a requirement
Ability to read blueprints and diagrams an asset
Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
Forklift and Crane experience is an asset
