Parkland College is currently accepting applications for a Human Resource (HR) Generalist at our Yorkton Campus. This is a temporary, full-time position from July 16, 2018 - August 9, 2019.
The Opportunity:
The HR Generalist is responsible for providing Human Resource services in a variety of functional areas including:
-Consult and advise on interpretation and
administration of policies, legislation, and
the Collective Bargaining Agreement;
-Manage full recruitment cycle and implement
proactive recruitment strategies in
partnership with hiring supervisors;
-Provide guidance on performance management,
progressive discipline, employee and labour
relations, leave of absence and return to
work management, conflict resolution,
professional development, etc.; and
-Conduct research, analysis, and provide
recommendations related to HR functions,
policies and processes.
The HR Generalist will contribute to ongoing initiatives to improve processes and implement best practices that support Parkland Colleges strategic direction and organizational priorities.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelors Degree in Business or Commerce
with a major in Human Resource Management.
-Two (2) years experience in similar Human
Resource related position.
-A suitable combination of post-secondary
education and experience may be considered
for this position.
